In the operating theatre, gas, power and equipment must reach the surgical team without cables on the floor. Tecnomed supplies ceiling pendants, AGSS, operating lamps and OR terminal units.
Motorised double-arm three-joint pendants and single-arm pendants carry 8 electrical sockets, 8 grounding points, 2 rail racks and medical gas outlets, with 90 kg standard load capacity (up to 180 kg customised) and optional electromagnetic or pneumatic brakes.
The anaesthetic gas scavenging system removes waste anaesthetic gases from AGSS outlets through oil-free blowers with a control panel, protecting staff and meeting HTM 02-01.
Operating room lamps of the Vega series, wall gas modules with 1–6 outlets and second stage regulator panels complete the theatre package.
TEC21.02 The motorized double arm three joint pendant is Tecnomed's widest-reaching ceiling supply unit for operating theatres and high-dependency intensive care. Two arms and three articulated joints move the service head freely around the table, while the motorized column sets outlets, sockets and instrument trays at the working height the team actually needs.
TEC21.01 The motorized single arm double joint pendant is a compact ceiling supply unit for intensive care beds and smaller theatres. One arm and two joints give the service head a controlled swing around the bed, and the motorized column adjusts working height electrically while carrying the same standard socket, grounding and rail package.
TEC21.03 The non-motorized single arm double joint pendant is a fixed-height ceiling supply unit for bed spaces that need gas, power and data overhead without electrical height adjustment. One arm and two joints let the head be swung around the bed and parked clear, while the standard socket, grounding and rail package stays the same.
TEC21.04 The non-motorized double arm three joint pendant combines the widest reach in the TEC21 range with a fixed service height. Two arms and three joints let the head travel right around the table or bed, while the standard package of sockets, grounding points and rail racks matches the motorized versions exactly.
TEC61.xx.01-04 The DIN 13260-2 medical gas outlet is Tecnomed's terminal unit for hospitals standardised on German probe geometry. Seven gas services – oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air 4 bar, surgical air 7 bar, vacuum, carbon dioxide and nitrogen – are covered in four connection variants and in both MC all-brass and PC brass-plus-ABS constructions, each one 100% leak tested before dispatch.
TEC61.xx.05-08 The BS 5682 medical gas outlet suits hospitals working to British practice and HTM guidance. Tecnomed supplies all seven gas services – oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air 4 bar, surgical air 7 bar, vacuum, carbon dioxide and nitrogen – in 45° pipe, 90° pipe, 45° union and rear union versions, each available as MC all-brass or PC ABS-cover.
TEC61.xx.09-12 The AFNOR medical gas outlet covers hospitals built to French practice, common across francophone Africa, the Maghreb and parts of the Middle East. Tecnomed lists all seven gas services to NF S 90-116 in four connection variants – 45° pipe, 90° pipe, 45° union and rear outlet – on the same degreased brass lower body as the rest of the TEC61 range.
TEC61.xx.xx.EV Eva series medical gas outlets are Tecnomed's ergonomic, cost-efficient BS 5682 terminal units. Every part the gas passes through is M58 forged brass, while the housing uses ABS and glass-fibre reinforced engineering plastics. A wide upper head lets nurses release the probe with one finger. Five gas services are offered in four connection variants.
TEC81.01 Tecnomed IV poles and infusion stands are intertwinement-type transport stands for patient rooms, wards and intensive care units. The TEC81.01 serum trolley and TEC81.02 patient walker share a stainless steel pole, four hooks at 90 degrees, one-hand height adjustment and twin braked castors, and their nesting leg geometry saves up to 72% of storage space compared with conventional infusion stands.
TEC81.03 Tecnomed examination and inspection lamps are mobile LED lights for examination rooms, wards and minor procedure areas. The TEC81.03 inspection lamp gives over 70,000 lux at 500 mm from a 9 W LED head with dimming, while the TEC81.04 Acrobat lamp uses a counterbalanced spring arm with an 800 mm projection. Both mount on a five-leg castor base.
TEC81.05 The Tecnomed operating room lamp TEC81.05 is the Vega series surgical light, developed for the needs of modern surgery and its disciplines. Ceiling-mounted on articulated arms with 360° rotation, it delivers homogeneous illumination that increases surgeon comfort everywhere in the field and enlarges the working area, and is operated from an advanced touch panel or remote control.
TEC81.06 Tecnomed hospital carriers and trolleys move gas cylinders, suction sets and patient monitors safely around the ward. The range covers the TEC81.06 intertwinement type tube carrier for oxygen cylinders, the TEC81.07 vacuum trolley carrying a regulator and collection jar, and the TEC81.08 blood pressure monitor carrier, all on mobile five-leg castor bases.
TEC51.19 The automatic medical gas manifold system is the cylinder-fed source of a hospital pipeline, supplying oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, medical air and mix gas. Two regulation stages drop cylinder pressure to a stable 4-5 bar line pressure, while duty and reserve banks change over automatically and a digital alarm unit reports line pressure and cylinder content.
TEC51.20 The Tecnomed medical air plant produces the sterile compressed air a hospital needs for ventilation and surgical use. Three screw compressors, compressed air tanks, refrigerated and desiccant dryers, four-stage filtration and a medical air regulator panel work together to deliver dry, oil-free, odour-free air at the pressure required by intensive care and operating theatres.
TEC51.21 The technical medical air plant is Tecnomed's economical alternative for facilities with a smaller bed count. A single screw compressor mounted over a horizontal receiver, with its own dryer, filter set and 4-7 bar regulator group, produces sterile air to medical standards in a compact footprint, and can be doubled as a redundant tank-over system or backed up with cylinders.
TEC51.22 The Tecnomed medical vacuum plant is the central suction source for patient rooms, intensive care units and operating theatres. Three vacuum pumps connected in parallel are run at equal time intervals by an equal-aging PLC control panel, negative pressure is stored in twin tanks and the line is protected by a double bacteria filter set before it reaches the wards.
