TEC21.03 The non-motorized single arm double joint pendant is a fixed-height ceiling supply unit for bed spaces that need gas, power and data overhead without electrical height adjustment. One arm and two joints let the head be swung around the bed and parked clear, while the standard socket, grounding and rail package stays the same.
TEC21.04 The non-motorized double arm three joint pendant combines the widest reach in the TEC21 range with a fixed service height. Two arms and three joints let the head travel right around the table or bed, while the standard package of sockets, grounding points and rail racks matches the motorized versions exactly.
TEC21.05 The rigid ceiling pendant is a fixed-position supply column for rooms where the point of care never moves. Without arms or joints it delivers medical gas outlets, electrical sockets, grounding points and rail-mounted accessories directly above a defined working position, in the simplest and most robust form in the TEC21 range.
TEC21.06 The twin pendant carries two independent service heads from a single ceiling mount, serving two bed positions or splitting the wet and dry services of one workstation. Each head has its own arm, brakes and service package of electrical sockets, grounding points and rail racks, so both sides can be positioned independently.

That means arm lengths, the mix of gas outlets and sockets, load capacity and finish can be matched to your room layout rather than to a catalogue number, and that spare parts, accessories and technical support come from the same source that built the unit.
A motorized pendant raises and lowers the service column electrically, so the head can be set to a comfortable working height for whoever is at the bedside. A non-motorized pendant uses the same arm and joint geometry but keeps the service head at a fixed installed height. Motorized versions are normally chosen for operating theatres and high-dependency beds; non-motorized versions suit wards and rooms where the working height does not change.
Load carrying capacity is 90 kg as standard. Where heavier equipment has to be mounted, the pendant can be customised for up to 180 kg. Tell us which ventilator, monitor, pumps and accessories will be hung on the unit and the configuration is dimensioned accordingly before production.
Medical gas outlets are an optional item and are available in BS, DIN and AFNOR patterns. Pressure gauges for the medical gases can also be fitted to the service head. Specify the outlet standard used in the rest of the hospital and the pendant is built with matching terminal units.
The number of joints sets how far the head can travel and how freely it can be swung out of the way. A three joint double arm pendant gives the widest envelope and is used over operating tables; a double joint single arm pendant covers a smaller radius at lower cost; a rigid pendant stays at one fixed point. Room dimensions and the position of the lamp, table and bed usually decide the choice.
Yes. Pendants are produced project by project, so the visual design of the unit can be matched to the interior scheme of the operating room or intensive care unit. Accessory selection such as shelves, drawers, IV poles and data socket covers is decided at the same time.
