TEC11.01 The Vexillum bed head unit is Tecnomed's core patient room bedhead: a rounded aluminium profile carrying medical gas outlets, mains and UPS sockets, a data socket, LED reading and room lighting and nurse call provision. It is produced to EN 11197 and offered in Carbon, Stone, Wood, Gold, Chrome and Texture finishes as well as graphic printed cover designs.
TEC11.02 The Clarail bed head unit takes the Vexillum profile and adds a full-length accessory rail along the lower edge, so monitors, pumps and rail-mounted equipment can be carried directly on the bedhead. It is produced to EN 11197 with medical gas outlets, mains and UPS sockets, data socket and LED reading and room lighting.
TEC11.03 The Twin bed head unit uses a double aluminium body channel with side composite lighting channels, so it can carry more medical gas services and more electrical services than a single-channel bedhead. Its wide body suits broad walls, and gas and electricity pass through fully separate channels. Manufactured to EN 11197.
TEC11.04 The Unique series bed head unit is Tecnomed's premium VIP room wall system, designed to hide medical gas, lighting and electrical services inside a luxury profile. Options include a touch control panel, control hand remote, lighting dimmer, diffused visual lighting, illuminated front cover and UV printed or hospital-branded covers. Manufactured to EN 11197.
TEC11.05 The Hendem bed head unit is manufactured entirely from an aluminium monolithic channel, giving patient rooms a clean, uninterrupted line. It carries a reading lamp, electrical sockets and medical gas outlets, with a separate connection socket for each electrical and gas service. Produced to EN 11197 in lengths up to 6000 mm.
TEC11.06 The Hendem-X bed head unit is the lighting-extended version of the Hendem monolithic aluminium bedhead, adding general room lighting to the reading lamp and offering four additional room lighting options. It carries mains and UPS sockets, a data socket and medical gas outlets, with electrical and gas systems kept fully separate. EN 11197.
TEC11.07 The Flash intensive care unit is a horizontal ICU wall unit designed for first level intensive care and private intensive care rooms. It carries the equipment used during intervention, with six mains and six UPS sockets, grounding points, a data socket and medical gas outlets. Three variants are offered: TEC11.07, TEC11.10 and TEC11.11.
TEC11.08 The Vexillum intensive care unit is Tecnomed's standard ICU wall unit and one of the indispensable elements of an intensive care service. It carries medical gas sockets and electrical services on a horizontal profile with full-length rails, and comes with six mains and six UPS sockets, grounding points and a data socket. Built to EN 11197.
TEC11.09 The Trio intensive care unit is specified where an ICU bay needs more electrical services than a standard unit and a 30 x 10 mm rail service that can accommodate all accessories across a wide wall. It carries triple rows of mains and UPS sockets with gas outlets below, and is manufactured in accordance with EN 11197.
TEC11.12 The Na-Di bridge type intensive care unit carries medical gas services, electrical services and intensive care equipment in modular ICU layouts. Its sliding pendentives travel along the bridge and rotate through 340 degrees, and it is supplied with wet and dry stand equipment groups. Coated aluminium, 50 kg carrying capacity, EN 11197.
TEC11.13 The Sude vertical intensive care unit is a floor-standing column that puts medical equipment, medicines, electrical services and gas outlets within easy reach during intervention. Depending on the project it can be produced to serve two patients, front and back. Standard specification includes 12 mains and 12 UPS sockets and 8 grounding points. EN 11197.
TEC11.14 The vertical intensive care unit is a floor-to-ceiling column for intensive care services with no wall-mounting facility, or where easier access to utilities is wanted. A medical accessory rail carries vacuum and catheter jars, monitor stands and other rail equipment, and right and left IV poles with infusion perfuser carrier arms are fitted. EN 11197.
TEC12 The TEC12 range covers the rails, monitor stands and accessories that equip a Tecnomed intensive care bedside: monitor stand, infusion pump and serum rail, intensive care basket, medical accessory rail, monitor stand with basket and serum rail type. All mount to the rails on bridge, wall and vertical intensive care units.
A Tecnomed bed head unit brings medical gas services, electrical services, room and reading lighting and nurse call provision together in one horizontal profile above the patient bed. Every unit in the TEC11 range is manufactured in accordance with EN 11197, the standard for supply units used in medical practice, and gas and electrical services run in physically separate channels inside the body. The range is specified by hospital projects, biomedical departments and MEP contractors for wards, private rooms, day-case areas and intensive care services.
The range covers ward bedheads and intensive care units. Vexillum, Clarail, Twin, Unique, Hendem and Hendem-X cover single and double-channel patient rooms from standard wards to VIP suites. Flash, Vexillum and Trio intensive care units serve wall-mounted critical care bays, the Na-Di bridge type unit serves modular ICU layouts with sliding wet and dry stands, and the Sude and Vertical units are floor-to-ceiling columns for rooms with no usable wall. The TEC12 rail, monitor stand and basket accessories complete the ICU bedside.
Tecnomed manufactures these units in Istanbul and exports to more than 45 countries. Size, length, finish, socket standard (DIN, UK or USA), gas outlet standard (DIN, BS or AFNOR) and cover design are all set per project, so the unit matches the architectural scheme of the room rather than the other way round. Cover finishes include the Carbon, Stone, Wood, Gold, Chrome and Texture series plus graphic printed designs, and antibacterial paint in RAL colours is available. Project drawings, commissioning support and spare parts are handled by the factory.
All TEC11 bed head units and intensive care units are manufactured in accordance with EN 11197, the standard covering supply units for medical use. Within the unit, medical gas services and electrical services are routed through separate channels so the two systems stay independent. Gas outlets are supplied to DIN, BS or AFNOR patterns depending on the project.
Yes. Size, length, colour and feature set are decided per project. Electrical sockets are available in DIN, UK or USA pattern, mains and UPS circuits can be mixed, and cover finishes range from the Carbon, Stone, Wood, Gold, Chrome and Texture series to graphic printed and UV printed designs. Hendem and Hendem-X profiles are available in optional lengths up to 6000 mm.
A ward bed head unit such as Vexillum or Hendem carries a modest service load: typically two to four sockets, one or two LED lamps and up to three gas outlets. Intensive care units such as Flash, Vexillum ICU and Trio start from six mains plus six UPS sockets, add accessory rails for monitors and pumps, and are built to carry the equipment used during intervention at the bedside.
The Sude Vertical Intensive Care Unit and the Vertical Intensive Care Unit are floor-to-ceiling columns designed exactly for that case, and the Sude can be configured to serve two patients front and back. Where the ICU is modular and equipment has to travel with the bed, the Na-Di bridge type unit with its sliding wet and dry stands is the usual choice.
Nurse call provision is offered as an option on the bed head and intensive care units, so the unit is delivered prepared for the call button, handset and wiring. Tecnomed also supplies the TEC71 Wi-Fi nurse call system separately, which can be specified together with the bedhead so both arrive matched to the same project.
Yes. Tecnomed manufactures the TEC61 outlet range in DIN 13260-2, BS 5682 and AFNOR NF S 90-116 patterns and fits them into the bedhead at the factory, so the unit arrives ready for connection to the pipeline. Outlets can also be left as a provision if the hospital has an existing outlet standard to match.
