Overview
The Clarail bed head unit is the rail-equipped version of Tecnomed's ward bedhead. It keeps the rounded aluminium profile, the separated gas and electrical channels and the LED reading and room lighting of the Vexillum unit, and adds a continuous accessory rail running under the front cover. That rail turns the bedhead into a mounting surface, so infusion equipment, monitor arms, baskets and other rail-mounted accessories no longer need a separate floor stand at the head of the bed.
Construction follows the same pattern as the rest of the TEC11 range: an extruded aluminium body, a removable decorative front cover that carries the design finish, and gas services and electrical services routed separately through the unit. Medical gas outlets are supplied in DIN, BS or AFNOR pattern and electrical sockets in DIN, UK or USA pattern. All Tecnomed bed head units are manufactured in accordance with EN 11197, and the unit is produced in the size, colour and feature set required by the project.
The cover can be specified in any of the standard design series or as a graphic printed application; the unit is shown in the catalogue with the Arabic printed design. Clarail suits wards and private rooms where staff need to hang equipment at the bedside without cluttering the floor, and it is a common choice for step-down beds, high-dependency rooms and post-operative areas that sit between a standard ward bed and a full intensive care bay.
