The bed head unit is the one piece of medical equipment every patient sees. Tecnomed combines gas outlets, electrical services, reading and room lighting and nurse call in units that match the hospital's interior design.
Vexillum, Clarail, Twin, Unique, Hendem and Hendem-X series cover every budget and design level, from standard ward units to VIP rooms with touch panels and hand remotes.
Finishes include carbon, stone, wood, gold, chrome and texture series plus UV-printed graphic designs, and every unit can be sized to the room and painted in antibacterial RAL colours.
Wi-Fi nurse call systems, over-door lamps, WC cord buttons, IV poles and patient room signage complete the ward package.
TEC11.01 The Vexillum bed head unit is Tecnomed's core patient room bedhead: a rounded aluminium profile carrying medical gas outlets, mains and UPS sockets, a data socket, LED reading and room lighting and nurse call provision. It is produced to EN 11197 and offered in Carbon, Stone, Wood, Gold, Chrome and Texture finishes as well as graphic printed cover designs.
TEC11.02 The Clarail bed head unit takes the Vexillum profile and adds a full-length accessory rail along the lower edge, so monitors, pumps and rail-mounted equipment can be carried directly on the bedhead. It is produced to EN 11197 with medical gas outlets, mains and UPS sockets, data socket and LED reading and room lighting.
TEC11.03 The Twin bed head unit uses a double aluminium body channel with side composite lighting channels, so it can carry more medical gas services and more electrical services than a single-channel bedhead. Its wide body suits broad walls, and gas and electricity pass through fully separate channels. Manufactured to EN 11197.
TEC11.04 The Unique series bed head unit is Tecnomed's premium VIP room wall system, designed to hide medical gas, lighting and electrical services inside a luxury profile. Options include a touch control panel, control hand remote, lighting dimmer, diffused visual lighting, illuminated front cover and UV printed or hospital-branded covers. Manufactured to EN 11197.
TEC71.01 The Tecnomed Wi-Fi nurse call system covers a complete ward without call wiring at the bedside. A nurse call display screen handles up to 200 call buttons and shows floor, room and bed in detail; battery-powered ABS call buttons with handset sockets sit at each bed; and a signal transmitter unit with external dipole antenna extends coverage through high-rise buildings.
TEC71.05 The Tecnomed WC cord button TEC71.05 and over door warning lamp TEC71.06 extend the nurse call system into bathrooms and corridors. The cord button is humidity-resistant ABS with a pull cord, Braille alphabet text and five years of lithium battery life, while the RGB LED door lamp signals call status in red, blue, yellow or green above the room door.
TEC71.07 The Tecnomed call recording unit TEC71.07 adds reporting to the nurse call system. It records every call, determines the time of nurse intervention and lets calls be defined by region such as bathroom, WC or first-floor patient rooms. The unit connects to a computer by USB and the software prints reports for monthly, weekly, daily or custom date ranges.
TEC81.01 Tecnomed IV poles and infusion stands are intertwinement-type transport stands for patient rooms, wards and intensive care units. The TEC81.01 serum trolley and TEC81.02 patient walker share a stainless steel pole, four hooks at 90 degrees, one-hand height adjustment and twin braked castors, and their nesting leg geometry saves up to 72% of storage space compared with conventional infusion stands.
TEC81.03 Tecnomed examination and inspection lamps are mobile LED lights for examination rooms, wards and minor procedure areas. The TEC81.03 inspection lamp gives over 70,000 lux at 500 mm from a 9 W LED head with dimming, while the TEC81.04 Acrobat lamp uses a counterbalanced spring arm with an 800 mm projection. Both mount on a five-leg castor base.
TEC81.05 The Tecnomed operating room lamp TEC81.05 is the Vega series surgical light, developed for the needs of modern surgery and its disciplines. Ceiling-mounted on articulated arms with 360° rotation, it delivers homogeneous illumination that increases surgeon comfort everywhere in the field and enlarges the working area, and is operated from an advanced touch panel or remote control.
TEC81.06 Tecnomed hospital carriers and trolleys move gas cylinders, suction sets and patient monitors safely around the ward. The range covers the TEC81.06 intertwinement type tube carrier for oxygen cylinders, the TEC81.07 vacuum trolley carrying a regulator and collection jar, and the TEC81.08 blood pressure monitor carrier, all on mobile five-leg castor bases.
TEC61.xx.01-04 The DIN 13260-2 medical gas outlet is Tecnomed's terminal unit for hospitals standardised on German probe geometry. Seven gas services – oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air 4 bar, surgical air 7 bar, vacuum, carbon dioxide and nitrogen – are covered in four connection variants and in both MC all-brass and PC brass-plus-ABS constructions, each one 100% leak tested before dispatch.
TEC61.xx.05-08 The BS 5682 medical gas outlet suits hospitals working to British practice and HTM guidance. Tecnomed supplies all seven gas services – oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air 4 bar, surgical air 7 bar, vacuum, carbon dioxide and nitrogen – in 45° pipe, 90° pipe, 45° union and rear union versions, each available as MC all-brass or PC ABS-cover.
TEC61.xx.09-12 The AFNOR medical gas outlet covers hospitals built to French practice, common across francophone Africa, the Maghreb and parts of the Middle East. Tecnomed lists all seven gas services to NF S 90-116 in four connection variants – 45° pipe, 90° pipe, 45° union and rear outlet – on the same degreased brass lower body as the rest of the TEC61 range.
TEC61.xx.xx.EV Eva series medical gas outlets are Tecnomed's ergonomic, cost-efficient BS 5682 terminal units. Every part the gas passes through is M58 forged brass, while the housing uses ABS and glass-fibre reinforced engineering plastics. A wide upper head lets nurses release the probe with one finger. Five gas services are offered in four connection variants.
