Overview
The Vexillum bed head unit is designed around a simple, ergonomic profile that keeps every bedside service within reach of the patient and the nurse. Medical gas outlets sit on the left of the front cover, electrical and data sockets on the right, and the switch group controls the reading LED below the unit and the upward-facing room LED above it. All Tecnomed bed head units are produced in accordance with EN 11197, and each unit can be made in a different size, colour and feature set according to the requirements of the room.
The body is an extruded aluminium channel with a removable decorative front cover, which is what gives the unit its design series. Gas and electrical services pass through the body in separate routes, so the two systems remain independent through the whole length of the unit. The cover is available in the Carbon, Stone, Wood, Gold, Chrome and Texture series, and grounding points, antibacterial paint in RAL colours and non-standard lengths are offered as options. Medical gas outlets are supplied in DIN, BS or AFNOR pattern.
Beyond the standard finish series, Vexillum covers can be produced as graphic printed applications: Arabic, Dot, Hexagon, Hexagon 2, Degrade, Texture and Future designs give the ward a distinct visual identity without changing the technical build. The unit suits general wards, maternity and paediatric rooms, day-case areas, recovery bays and private patient rooms. Accessories and features are produced specifically to customer demand, so socket counts, gas services and lighting can all be adjusted to the hospital brief.

Yes. The Vexillum profile routes medical gas services and electrical services through separate paths inside the body, which is a requirement of EN 11197 practice and keeps servicing of one system independent of the other.
