Tecnomed TEC81.01 intertwinement type serum trolley IV poles nested together TEC81.01

IV Poles and Infusion Stands

Tecnomed IV poles and infusion stands are intertwinement-type transport stands for patient rooms, wards and intensive care units. The TEC81.01 serum trolley and TEC81.02 patient walker share a stainless steel pole, four hooks at 90 degrees, one-hand height adjustment and twin braked castors, and their nesting leg geometry saves up to 72% of storage space compared with conventional infusion stands.

Tecnomed TEC81.03 intertwinement type LED inspection lamp on mobile five-leg base TEC81.03

Examination and Inspection Lamps

Tecnomed examination and inspection lamps are mobile LED lights for examination rooms, wards and minor procedure areas. The TEC81.03 inspection lamp gives over 70,000 lux at 500 mm from a 9 W LED head with dimming, while the TEC81.04 Acrobat lamp uses a counterbalanced spring arm with an 800 mm projection. Both mount on a five-leg castor base.

Tecnomed Uni ceiling hanging system TEC81.20 with curved rail and infusion carrier above a hospital bed TEC81.20

Ceiling Hanging and Rail Systems

Tecnomed ceiling hanging and rail systems take infusion equipment, serum bottles and monitors off the floor and onto anodized aluminium rails above the bed. The Uni system TEC81.20 uses a curved hanger rail with serum and infusion carriers, while the IO suspension system TEC81.30 runs straight rails up to 6,000 mm long with dual infusion and monitor carriers, both rated up to 80 kg/m.

Signamed patient-centered signage panel with isolation precautions insert and colour-coded pull tabs SIGNAMED

Patient-Centered Signage

Signamed patient-centered signage puts room identification and clinical communication on one sign outside the patient room. ADA compliant panels with Grade 2 Braille and tactile copy carry replaceable paper inserts and colour-coded communication nails, so isolation status, precautionary attachments and patient information stay visible and can be updated in seconds.

Overview

Genuine space saving on the wardThe intertwinement leg geometry lets stands nest into each other, saving up to 72% of the floor area compared with standard infusion stands. Store rooms and corridors stay clear without buying additional storage furniture.
  • 02
Stainless steel built for daily disinfectionPoles and frames are stainless steel to DIN EN 10217-7, and the plastic parts are UV-resistant so they do not yellow or crack in sunlit rooms. Surfaces tolerate repeated wipe-down disinfection over years of ward use.

One-hand adjustment at the bedsideHeight is set with a single hand while the other hand stays with the patient or the infusion line. An integrated extension limiter stops the telescopic tube from being pulled apart during adjustment.

Ceiling systems that free the floorUni and IO rail systems move infusion pumps, serum bottles and monitors off the floor and onto anodized aluminium rails rated up to 80 kg/m. Staff gain unobstructed access to the patient from every side of the bed.

Configured per project, not per catalogue pageRail spans, radii, carrier types, hook counts and signage content are set from the room drawings. Non-standard rail widths are produced to order, with the minimum width determined by the bend radius.

One supplier for the whole patient roomAccessories are delivered together with Tecnomed bed head units, pendants, area valve service units and gas outlets. One contract, one delivery schedule and one after-sales contact for the complete room.

Tecnomed hospital accessories cover the equipment that works around the patient bed: intertwinement-type IV poles and patient walkers, LED inspection and examination lamps, operating room lamps, cylinder and monitor carriers, ceiling hanging rail systems and patient-centred room signage. They are specified by hospital procurement teams, biomedical engineering departments and MEP contractors who are already installing Tecnomed bed head units, pendants and medical gas pipelines, and are produced in Tecnomed's Istanbul plant under an ISO 13485 quality management system with CE marking to MDD 93/42/EEC.

The range starts with mobile stands: the TEC81.01 intertwinement type serum trolley and the TEC81.02 patient walker, both in stainless steel with one-hand height adjustment, weighted bases and twin castors. It continues with the TEC81.03 inspection lamp, the TEC81.04 Acrobat examination lamp and the TEC81.05 Vega series operating room lamp, then the TEC81.06 to TEC81.08 tube, vacuum and blood pressure monitor carriers. At ceiling level, the TEC81.20 Uni hanging system and the TEC81.30 IO suspension system carry infusion, serum and monitor carriers on anodized aluminium rails. The Signamed patient-centred signage system completes the room.

Tecnomed is a manufacturer, not a reseller. Stand lengths, hook counts, rail geometry, colours and signage graphics are configured for the project rather than taken from stock, and rails are cut to the radius and span of the actual room. Products are shipped to more than 45 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and South Asia, with drawings, installation guidance and spare parts supplied by the same team that builds the medical gas system, so accessories, bed head units and pipeline equipment stay consistent across the whole hospital.

Frequently asked questions

How much storage space do the intertwinement stands actually save?

The legs are shaped so that one stand slides into the next instead of colliding with it. Tecnomed states 52.5% space saving as the rated figure for the stand itself, and up to 72% space saving compared with conventional infusion stands when a group is nested together. A row of five walkers occupies roughly the footprint of two conventional stands.

What load can the IV poles and ceiling carriers take?

The TEC81.01 serum trolley and TEC81.02 patient walker carry 8 kg in total and 2 kg per hook, across four hooks arranged at 90 degrees. On the ceiling systems, the serum carrier takes 15 kg, the infusion and dual infusion carriers 40 kg each, and the aluminium hanger rails up to 80 kg per metre.

Can the ceiling rail be made to fit our room?

Yes. The Uni system hanger rail is supplied as an anodized aluminium profile of 57.5 x 47.5 x 5 mm with end caps and connectors; the standard U/L/O size is approximately 2,100 x 1,400 mm. Other sizes are available, with the minimum width determined by the bend radius, and the IO system hanger can be supplied up to 6,000 mm long.

Are the examination lamps suitable for 110 V countries?

The TEC81.03 inspection lamp accepts 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz as standard, so it works on both 110 V and 230 V networks. The TEC81.04 Acrobat lamp is 220 V, 50-60 Hz as standard and is available as a 110 V version on request, together with an optional dimmer and international plug types.

Do you supply spare parts and accessories after installation?

Yes. Castors, hooks, bottle holders, plastic parts, lamp heads and rail connectors are stocked as service items, and signage paper inserts can be reprinted at any time. Because Tecnomed manufactures the products, replacement parts are available for the service life of the equipment rather than only while a model is current.

Can accessories be ordered with a bed head unit or medical gas project?

That is the usual way they are bought. Hospital accessories are quoted together with bed head units, intensive care units, pendants, area valve service units and the medical gas pipeline, so the whole patient room is delivered from one manufacturer with a single set of drawings and a single delivery schedule.
