Overview
The TEC12 range is the accessory ecosystem that turns an intensive care unit into a working bedside. Six items are catalogued: the monitor stand TEC12.01, the infusion pump and serum rail type TEC12.02, the intensive care basket TEC12.03, the medical accessory rail TEC12.04, the monitor stand with basket TEC12.05 and the serum rail type TEC12.06. All of them clamp to the accessory rails built into Tecnomed bridge, wall-mounted and vertical intensive care units.
The monitor stand is a height-adjustable shelf on a vertical rail plate, so the display can be set to the working eye level of the clinician and moved when the bed is repositioned. The monitor stand with basket adds a wire basket beneath the shelf for cables and consumables, and the intensive care basket is available on its own. The infusion pump and serum rail type is an IV post with hooks and a pump carrier bracket, and the serum rail type is a simple rail-mounted serum hanger.
The medical accessory rail TEC12.04 is the mounting interface itself. It is supplied in the standard 10 x 30 mm section used across the Tecnomed intensive care range - the same rails fitted to the four sides of the Na-Di bridge dry stand and offered as a 30 x 10 mm rail service on the Trio intensive care unit - so equipment bought for one bay fits every other bay in the hospital. Accessories are produced in stainless steel and coated aluminium and can be specified per project.
