Overview
The Na-Di bridge type intensive care unit is a ceiling-mounted bridge that carries medical gas services, electrical services and the intensive care equipment used at the bedside in modular hospital intensive care units. Gas outlets are grouped along angled faces on the bridge body so probes can be inserted from the working position, and electrical sockets run along the opposite face. The unit is manufactured in accordance with EN 11197.
Its defining feature is the sliding structure. Pendentives travel along the bridge and lock where the clinician needs them, which means the equipment position follows the patient and the procedure rather than being fixed at build time. Each pendentive turns through a 340 degree route. The bridge body is coated aluminium, measures 330 x 2000 x 130 mm (width x length x height), carries up to 50 kg and runs on a 220 V - 50 Hz supply.
Two equipment groups are offered. The wet stand carries the infusion pump and perfuser carrier and two IV posts, slides along the unit, turns through 340 degrees and has up and down height adjustment. The dry stand carries one stainless steel shelf drawer, one stainless steel shelf and four side accessory rails of 10 x 30 mm, and also slides along the unit with a 340 degree turning route. Both work with the TEC12 accessory family: monitor stand, infusion pump and serum rail, and intensive care basket.

Frequently asked questions
How much equipment can the Na-Di bridge carry?
The unit has a carrying capacity of 50 kg. The bridge body is coated aluminium and measures 330 x 2000 x 130 mm (width x length x height), with a 220 V - 50 Hz electrical supply. Loads should be distributed across the sliding pendentives rather than concentrated at one point.
What is the difference between the wet stand and the dry stand?
The wet stand is for infusion: it carries the infusion pump and perfuser carrier and two IV posts, and adds up and down height adjustment. The dry stand is for equipment and consumables: one stainless steel shelf drawer, one stainless steel shelf and four side accessory rails of 10 x 30 mm. Both slide along the unit and turn through 340 degrees.
Can the pendentives be moved after installation?
Yes. The sliding system runs throughout the unit, so pendentives travel along the bridge and can be repositioned at any time, and each turns through a 340 degree route. That is the main reason bridge units are chosen for modular intensive care layouts where bed position changes.
Which accessories fit the bridge?
The TEC12 range: monitor stand TEC12.01, infusion pump and serum rail type TEC12.02, intensive care basket TEC12.03, medical accessory rail TEC12.04, monitor stand with basket TEC12.05 and serum rail type TEC12.06. The dry stand's 10 x 30 mm side rails accept the same fittings.
